Retired elementary teacher, Judy Wolfman, is an accomplished professional storyteller and public speaker. She conducts workshops on writing and storytelling regularly. Her works include the Life on a Farm series of children’s books, and How and Why Stories for Readers’ Theatre, involving forty scripted folktales and legends. Her historical fiction novels include Not My Time, the true story of a Holocaust survivor; The Long Escape, the epic tale of Chinese immigrants smuggled to America in 1992; and A Slave No More, the incredible accounting of Henry Brown, who escaped slavery in 1815 by arranging to have himself mailed from Virginia to Philadelphia in a wooden crate.
